Cross-country storm expected to bring heavy snow across Upper Midwest, Great Lakes region

We're tracking a cross-country storm set to impact most of the U.S. later this week. On the cold side, heavy snow is likely in parts of the Rockies and Upper Midwest/Upper Great Lakes. While the highest totals will be found in the mountains, Denver could end up with 1-3" of powdery snow Wednesday and Thursday.
