South prepares for relentless rain while northern tier braces for heavy snow

Relentless rain and snow is expected to impact the Central U.S over the next few days. Heavy snow will breakout across parts of the Northern/Central Plains and Upper Midwest and some areas could see days of widespread snow. A multiday flash flood threat is likely in portions of the Plains and the Lower Mississippi River Valley.
