Coast-to-coast storm could produce significant icing from Midwest to Northeast
This storm will begin to impact the Northeast, especially New England, beginning late Wednesday and last into Friday. Snow will be favored North, while ice and rain will be the primary precipitation type farther south. The latest forecast models indicate this freezing line should setup somewhere along I-90. To the north of this line, snow will be favored, with the highest totals expected across Northeastern New York, Northern Connecticut/New Hampshire, and Southern Maine.
