Eastern US to enjoy taste of spring as temperatures will be above average this week

In the Eastern U.S, we can expect a warm air mass to settle into the region. As the warm air mass moves into the Eastern U.S, it will cause temperatures to rise to well above average for this time of year. Some locations in the mid-Atlantic region could see temperatures climb into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Across the South, temperatures will rise into the 70s while Florida could see record high temperatures late in the week as highs approach 90 degrees.
