Southeast, Gulf Coast could see minor flooding Thursday as soaking rain drenches region

A strong warm front, will position itself across southern Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia on Thursday. North of the front, a concentrated area of cold rain is expected with temperatures in the 40s. A swath of 1-3" of rain will fall from northeastern Louisiana northeastward through central Mississippi, northern Alabama, and into northern Georgia.
