Monsoonal storms causes Denver interstate to flood

The Denver metro was hit hard by monsoonal thunderstorms where one dropped over 2 inches of rain in less than 30 minutes. This would cause havoc on the interstates where a newly opened tunnel flooded with nearly a foot of water stalling multiple vehicles before the entire interstate came to a haul for over an hour which lead to traffic backups for miles and diverting traffic in the wrong direction and off of the interstate until the water cleared.
