Large area of severe storms could stretch from Upper Midwest to East Coast

Severe thunderstorms are expected Tuesday across parts of the northern/central Plains into the Midwest with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats. Strong to severe storms are also expected Tuesday from the Midwest to the mid-Atlantic.
