East River Coastal Resiliency Project aims to protect NYC from next superstorm
Post Sandy, federal funds have been allocated to Manhattan to shore up the East Promenade along the East River. This is the largest resiliency project to date in the US. East River Park will be able to withstand future storms and rising waters.
