Disorganized tropical system poses major flood threat in Central, South Florida

A tropical disturbance continues to spread heavy rain and gusty winds across the southern half of the Florida Peninsula, western Cuba and the northwestern Bahamas, but the system remains disorganized and likely won't become Tropical Storm Alex until after it moves off Florida's Atlantic coast.
