Very warm temperatures in place across eastern third of country

Ahead of a cold front, very warm temperatures will be in place across the eastern third of the country. High temperatures will be as much as 20 degrees above average. Highs in the 70s and 80s will be felt as far north as Michigan and upstate New York.
