Dozens of daily record highs in jeopardy from Southeast to mid-Atlantic

After dozens of record highs have been set in the Southwest and Plains this week, the heat will gradually shift toward the Eastern Seaboard through early next week. Over three dozen daily record highs are in jeopardy Sunday and Monday from the Southeast to the mid-Atlantic.
