Passengers enter darkened Hawaii airport after power outage

Southwest Airlines passengers were ushered into a darkened terminal in driving rain after power went out at Kahului Airport on Hawaii’s Maui island on Dec. 5. Footage by passenger Andrew Giesemann shows people disembarking the flight from San Jose, California, in heavy rain. Inside the airport, an employee with torches advises passengers to hold the railings as they make their way along in the dark.
