Severe storms loom for southern US on Tuesday

Strong thunderstorms, possibly severe, are likely Tuesday from parts of the southern Plains through the Southeast. While the overall threat is lower Wednesday, a few strong storms could bring hail and gusty winds to many of the same areas along a pesky boundary lingering across the South.
