Tropical Storm Alvin forms in Eastern Pacific Ocean

Tropical Storm Alvin became the first named storm of the 2025 hurricane season on Thursday. The National Hurricane Center said Alvin is organizing hundreds of miles off the Pacific Coast of Mexico.
