Flash flood risk renewed Thursday along East Coast
Much of the East is still under threat for more flooding Thursday, with Virginia to South Carolina being under a Flood Watch as well as parts of New England. Favorable winds aloft will allow slow-moving storms to train over the same areas while tapping into the upper echelon of tropical moisture sitting over the region, the FOX Forecast Center said, As a result, a Level 2 out of 4 flash flood risk has been issued in anticipation of the repeated threat with Flood Watches likely being extended into the coming days.
