U.S. East Coast eyes tropical development of Invest 94L

Invest 94L is moving across the Great Antilles where it's producing downpours across Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and the island of Hispaniola. According to the National Hurricane Center it is expected to move closer to the U.S. Southeast coast later this week into the weekend. The NHC expects this system to become a tropical depression in the vicinity of the Bahamas later this week. Where it goes from there remains an open question.
