Life-threatening heat dome grips eastern half of the country

Millions of people across the eastern half of the US are sweltering under a heat dome that has already broken records across parts of the Southeast.  Tuesday will be one of the worst days of a dangerous heat wave that is producing life-threatening conditions for those without access to cooling and hydration.
