'Snow rodeo' begins as Horse Skijoring returns to Minnesota

The sport of horse skijoring, which involves horses pulling skiers down snowy race tracks and obstacle courses, has returned this weekend for the 2025 competition in Canterbury, Minnesota. Canterbury Park Marketing Manager Jeff Maday describes the competition, what it takes to produce enough snow for it and other activities that are part of the event.
