Heavy rain soaks drought-stricken Florida with life-threatening rip currents lasting into weekend
An area of low pressure moving eastward across Florida is bringing much-needed rain to the Sunshine State this week amid the state's worst drought in 25 years. Heavy rain and onshore winds are also creating a flash flood threat for part of the state's Atlantic Coast, as well as dangerous rip currents from Jacksonville to Port St. Lucie.
