It’s been nearly a year since hurricanes Helene and Milton hit along Florida’s west coast within two weeks of each other, and Clearwater police sprang into action to answer calls for help. Clearwater Police Chief Eric Gandy joined FOX Weather on Sept. 10, 2025, to talk more about the department’s response during both storms.
