Severe storms could bring hail to Tennessee, North Carolina ahead of days of flash flooding

Severe storms are likely across parts of the Tennessee Valley and the southern Appalachians by Thursday afternoon. The highest risk for flash flooding lies along the Gulf Coast near New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama, where a stalled front will allow for renewed rounds of heavy rain, the FOX Forecast Center said.
