Lake-effect snow pelts Chicago, Midwest and Northeast across Great Lakes

Chicago received its first snow of the season, as strong bands of lake-effect snow move across Lakes Michigan, Erie and Ontario Monday morning, where Lake-Effect Snow Warnings are in place. Travel is being discouraged across parts of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and western New York.
