Invest 93L to fuel increasing Gulf Coast flood threat

Rain from Invest 93L looks to hold off until later Wednesday along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, when the flood threat begins to increase and will last through Saturday. Widespread rain totals of 3 to 6 inches are expected, with some areas possibly seeing up to 10 inches. Flood watches have been issued for south Louisiana which includes New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette. Invest 93L has a medium chance of tropical development this week.
