School districts bouncing back from Hurricane Helene’s devastating impacts in North Carolina
Hurricane Helene devastated areas of western North Carolina last year, including school districts in the impact zone. Buncombe County missed out on nearly a month of classes in the aftermath, but that didn’t stop staff from getting students back on track. Buncombe County Superintendent Dr. Rob Jackson joined FOX Weather on Tuesday to talk about challenges the district faced and how they’re bouncing back and getting ready for the upcoming year.
