Early taste of winter forecast for Eastern US next week
A significant change in the weather pattern over the eastern U.S. will bring an early winter preview to more than 200 million Americans. A dip in the polar jet stream will usher arctic air from Canada beginning Sunday. High temperatures are expected to run 10–20 degrees below average from Sunday through Tuesday for the Upper Midwest, Ohio Valley and Northeast, with cooler temperatures even reaching parts of the mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
