Barbara, Cosme both weaken in Eastern Pacific

The Eastern Pacific saw its first hurricane of 2025, Barbara, form Monday southwest of Mexico before weakening to a tropical storm that evening. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Cosme is weakening and forecast to become a post-tropical cyclone by Wednesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
