Severe Thunderstorm Watch

As storms continue to push east, so do the severe thunderstorm watches.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for those counties shaded in yellow until 2 a.m. CT.

Flash flooding is seen in Lufkin, Texas, on Monday after severe storms rolled through the area. 

A Tornado Warning is in effect for Western Angelina County in eastern Texas until 9:15 p.m. CDT.

The National Weather Service says that at 8:29 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Apple Springs, moving northeast at 25 mph.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch

The National Weather Service has expanded the Severe Thunderstorm Watch into western Louisiana.

The shaded counties are now under a watch until 2 a.m. CT.

Pea to nickel size hail covered the ground in Frisco, Texas, Monday evening.

Residents said it was if it had snow with the amount of hail that fell.

The FOX Weather Alert System is live and showing all of the severe warnings that are in effect.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Southern Fannin County until 7 p.m. CT.

NWS says that a tornado and half dollar size hail are possible with this storm.

A strengthening low-pressure system tracking across the South will ignite multiple rounds of severe thunderstorms this week as a more springlike weather pattern sets up over the United States.
