73 vehicle pile-up near Harrisburg, PA

A massive pile-up on PA 581 near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is impacting traffic in Cumberland County. There are no reported life-threatening injuries and busses are reported to be on their way to pick up stranded motorists. The area saw snow overnight and into the morning.

Tornado damage reported in Ocala, Florida

Florida Emergency Management believes a tornado moved through parts of Marion County during the early morning hours, damaging trees, cars and homes. So far, the National Weather Service has not said how strong their meteorologists believe any of the tornadoes were.

More than 1,100 flight cancellations Saturday

According to FlightAware.com, there were more than 1,100 cancellations as of 1 p.m. ET Saturday. The site said that there were nearly 3,900 flight delays as well.

Report of tornado in Putnam County, Florida

NOAA's Storm Prediction Center said there has been a report from the Putnam County, Florida, emergency manager of evidence of tornado damage and debris path.

The path is near Lake George across the Wetland/Water Management District across Highway 17 eastward along the Jacksonville International Airport.

Tornado Watch issued as intense storms, rain pound Southeast

Severe thunderstorms, including the threat of tornadoes, and heavy rain capable of flash flooding will batter the Southeast through Saturday.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of southern Alabama, Georgia and the northern half of Florida for the threat of isolated tornadoes in convection moving ashore from the Gulf of Mexico.
