FOX Weather to go red for women

Experts say cardiovascular disease claims a woman’s life every 80 seconds.

NEW YORK -- America’s Weather Team, both in front of and behind the scenes, will dress in red on Friday in support of the American Heart Association’s efforts to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and help save lives.

Health experts say heart disease claims a woman’s life every 80 seconds and is considered the greatest killer of women.

After two years of being impacted by the pandemic, the theme for this year’s awareness drive is "reclaim your rhythm" with the hopes that everyone takes control of both mental and physical health.
