Tornadoes, large hail and strong winds batter Central Plains and Mid-Atlantic

Large supercell thunderstorms have been erupting across West Texas and Oklahoma. So far radar has indicated storms capable of producing up to softball-sized hail, 80 mph straight-line winds and tornadoes.
